I was watching a TV program recently about the construction of the first Russian Arctic shuttle tanker, the “Vasily Dinkov”. The ship was being built by the Samsung corporation in Korea, however some important parts of the ship’s engine/motor had to be shipped from Russia. Because of this, they had to send a special team from Russia to help with the installation. The interesting thing about this was, the leader of the Russian construction team had been promoted and sent to Korea, mainly because of his ability to speak English!
